1: Q: Why can we only book for a minimum number of nights?
A: This restriction will only apply for the initial time that the booking website is open. The reason is quite simple - we know of many Morgan enthusiasts travelling thousands of miles to the event. We must avoid a situation where they find all the hotels are fully booked just for one or two nights during the whole Celebrations. After the initial booking period we will be able to accept bookings for shorter durations.
2: Q: Can I only book if I have a Morgan?
A: No hotel reservations are available to all who wish to book through this site.
3: Q: Do the hotels have disabled access?
A: Most hotels do although some may not have access to all rooms. Please contact the administration site for specific details for individual needs.
4: Q: Can I book for all my party?
A: Yes but if booking more than 6 rooms please contact us using the ‘Contact Us (accommodation)’ link at the bottom left of this page.
5: Q: What does additional information mean?
A: Do you wish to receive any new car or accessory details from the Morgan Motor Company?
6: Q: Do I have to belong to a Morgan Club to book?
A: No. Bookings are open to all.
7: Q: What is the smoking policy in the hotels?
A: Under UK law smoking is not permitted in any public area. This includes hotel restaurants, bars and lounges. As well as this most hotels now designate all bedrooms as 'Non-Smoking'. Some hotels still designate a very limited number of rooms as permitting smoking. if you require one of these rooms contact us using the ‘Contact Us (accommodation)’ link at the bottom left of this page.
8: Q: Why is the hotel accommodation so expensive?
A: Hotel accommodation in England is not cheap, and the Centenary is being celebrated in one of the most popular tourist areas during peak season. It is not uncommon for hotels to elevate their prices when major events are taking place. By pre-booking a range of hotels we have generally been able to secure rates that are in line with the normal charges.
9: Q: When can we book for specific event functions such as the Gala Dinner?
A: This will be soon, and everyone that has booked accommodation with the Morgan Centenary Celebrations will automatically receive an email telling them the date and time that we will start taking bookings for each event.
10: Q: We are making our own arrangements for accommodation, can we still book for the event functions.
A: Priority will be given to those that have booked accommodation with us. After this initial release we will open the bookings to everyone.
11: Q: Will camping be available at Cheltenham?
A: Yes, booking for this will be available shortly. You will see a link made available on the Centenary Booking System.
